ok guyssssss.

my friend anna and i were at lunch chatting about men (and the lack of good ones/my prince charming/any over 5 ft 8, because me wearing heels is a non-negotiable and frankly i don’t have time for your short man syndrome) and she SOMEHOW convinced me to download tinder.

online “dating” (sigh)

and we started playing.

it really was just a fun game. like picking petals off flowers as a child – he loves me, he loves me not. tinder = yes, no, no, no, maybe – ugh no.

i forgot about the whole thing until i was out with a few girls and they started chatting about it. girls were going on dates because of this app. apparently.

so out came the phone and away we went. yes, no, no, no.

and then there he was. the ex. the one who sucker punched me and left me feeling like love was a game i never wanted to play again.

i don’t have any interest in opening up the ex-files.

and thus ended my tinder game. it just wasn’t fun anymore.

ironically, my taken friends had the most fun playing it. online dating always looks like fun when you don’t think it’ll actually ever be a reality.

but c’est la vie of this 20-something city girl.

so drink up sista, you’re going to need to. the latest tinder guy is taking a selfie in the bathroom.

fall drinkgasm.

This recipe is from How Sweet Eats. Jessica is one of those people that are best friends with me without even knowing it.

This drink is kind of everything. I only make it, like every other day.

what? you play tinder and see how sober you can stay.
